Fall & Spring Select

Our Select Program offers committed players the opportunity to train and compete at a higher level during both the Fall and Spring seasons. Select teams focus on advanced skill development, increased gameplay, and elevated competition against other leagues throughout Orange County. Players develop stronger fundamentals, improve softball IQ, and gain experience that supports long‑term growth and future competitive play.

Fall Select gives motivated athletes a competitive option during the Fall season. Running from early September through mid‑November, teams practice twice per week and play Sunday doubleheaders, with mid‑season and end‑of‑season tournaments included. The program helps players sharpen skills, gain valuable reps, and build momentum heading into Spring. Players are chosen through the fall evaluation process as explained below.

Fall Select

Spring Select offers players an advanced softball experience alongside their regular recreation season. The program runs mid‑January through early April, with teams competing in doubleheaders on Sundays against other Select leagues. Spring Select focuses on elevated skill development, teamwork, and preparing athletes for future competitive play. Players are chosen through the fall evaluation process as explained below.

Select teams are formed through the league’s skills evaluation day held prior to either the fall or spring season. Coaches assess athletes and extend invitations based on performance, readiness, and team needs. Because each division has a limited number of Select teams, not all athletes will be chosen. Players who are not selected for a Select team will be placed on a Recreational (Rec) team for the season. In the spring season, all athletes, including those invited to Select, must also play on a Rec team.
