Summer All-Stars

Summer All‑Stars brings together selected players to compete in tournament play across the region, with teams formed in 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U divisions. Teams train throughout the summer and face strong programs, creating a fast‑paced and rewarding environment for advanced athletes. All‑Stars is a special opportunity for players to compete at the highest level offered by MVGS while building strong team bonds and creating summer memories that last long after the season ends.

The All‑Star season typically lasts from early May through the end of June, with some teams continuing into early August, depending on tournament advancement. Teams practice during the week and compete in multiple weekend tournaments, including required District play and opportunities to advance to State and beyond. Families can expect a fast‑paced summer filled with focused training, competitive games, and travel to local host leagues.

What to Expect

Players become eligible for All‑Stars by participating in the Spring Recreation season.  Spring managers rank interested athletes on skill, attitude, dependability, dedication, sportsmanship, and experience; All‑Star managers then form Gold (A) and Silver (B) teams using those rankings and USA Softball guidelines. All‑Stars require a significant family commitment, and the total cost for the summer season can reach or exceed $1,000, depending on travel, team needs, and tournaments.
