Spring Ball Season

Welcome to the 2024 spring season

 

SEASON DETAILS:

  • Skills Day for ALL REGISTERED MVGS Players is 1/27/2024 at William S. Craycraft Park
  • Our Spring season will run 2/5/2024 - 5/5/2024
  • 1st game will be the week of 2/12/2024
  • 6U: 1 mid-week practice and 1 game
  • 8U-14U: 2 practices per week and 2 games per week (see below)
  • Mid-Season Tournament: March 21-24
  • End of Season Tournament: First weekend in May (May 2nd - 5th)
  • Families are required to volunteer at least 4 points per player or "buyout". CLICK HERE to view the Volunteer Policy. 
  • Families are required to fundraise. Fundraising information coming soon.

GAME DAYS:

  • 6U: possible Monday or Saturday
  • 8U: Tuesday & Saturday
  • 10U: Wednesday & Saturday
  • 12U: Thursday & Saturday
  • 14U: Double-headers on Saturday

UNIFORMS:

  • 6U-14U: includes a jersey,  pants and 1 pair of socks

TEAMS:

  • We will hold a skills evaluation day and a draft for our 8U-14U divisions to ensure balanced teams.

  • Carpool and friend requests are only considered in the 6U division.

PLAY-UP REQUESTS:

  • Only 6U to 8U play-up requests will be considered!
  • If your child played up in Fall 2023, they must be reevaluated to play up in Spring 2024 at our Skills Evaluation Day.
  • Register your child in the 6U division and add your request to play-up in the comments section of this registration and email the league registrar Elizabeth Haynes with your request (no request forms needed at this time).

  • The determination to play-up will be made by our Director of Training.

ADDITIONAL COSTS

Please note that there may be additional costs incurred at the discretion of your team including, but not limited to: team sponsorship, banner/pennants, "fun" socks, hair bows, after game snacks, team parties.

SELECT

8U-14U players interested in playing in our Select program are required to register for our Spring Rec program at this time. There is a Select interest option in the registration form. If selected for a Select team, you will be provided with further instructions to complete Select registration.

If you are interested in managing a team, being an assistant coach, or being a team administrator, please register yourself so we can keep track and be in touch.  We couldn't do this without our volunteers!
