What's new for 2008?

• There will be NO skills day for 8U pitchers. All draft procedures will remain the same and players with pitching experience listed on their registration forms will be drafted in the 1st rounds.
• All Stars for the 8U ONLY; Any 8U eligible player that moves up and plays in the 10U division is eligible, if nominated, to play in the 10U or can drop down to the 8U level. Player must be nominated by their coach and must decide prior to All Star tryouts. If the player is not chosen for an All Star team in the division they chose, the player can not try out for the other age division.
• Move up requests. All move up requests must be presented to the Player Agent no later than 5:00PM on the day of the January BOD meeting. All move up requests must meet League requirements as per General Policies and must have Board approval. Once a player moves up, they are only eligible for All Stars within the age division they are playing. Exception for 8U move ups, see above.
• Move down requests. If a player requests to move up, but then decides to move back down, the request must be made prior the draft of both effected age divisions. Please refer to the League calendar for these dates.
• The definition of ‘Pitching Experience’ has been modified. Please refer to the FAQ’s for registration for more information.
