After gaining a number one seed in the first day of the Pumpkin Classic, the 8U Orange Crush team made it to the Championship Game before losing to Laguna Niguel in the last inning. The Crush team, behind stellar pitching, defense and timely hitting only trailed for one inning and held opponents scoreless for 23 of 27 innings throughout the Tournament.
